Learn about the Save Ukraine Art 22 project
Ustyna Soroka and Marco Gallipoli together and at the urging of entrepreneur and university lecturer Lucio Gomiero, in April 2022, set up Save Ukraine Art 22, a nonprofit project in which they all volunteer to bring packaging and art restoration materials to Ukraine. Thanks to Lucio Gomiero, the project is being espoused by companies, institutions and personalities from the Italian cultural and artistic world including the Restauratori senza Frontiere association, the software company Bludata and logistics company Ceccarelli Group.
The Bohdan Soroka Foundation aims to assist, in Ukraine, the Save Ukraine Art 22 group in the various actions it is organizing on the Italian territory.
Ukrainian culture
Ukrainian culture is not well known in the world. Evidence of this is the low representation of Ukrainian sites in the UNESCO World Heritage Register. Only 7 objects are included in this register, namely the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Khotyn Fortress State Historical and Architectural Reserve, the Sofiyivka National Dendrological Park, Sophia of Kyiv, the ancient city-state of Chersonesus Tavriyskyi, the National Historical and Architectural Reserve Kamianets-Podilskyi, and the historic center of Lviv.
